Lymphedema Awareness Day

    Has anyone tried to get a Lymphedema Awareness Day established by the Governor of their State?  Oftentimes, they will proclaim an Awareness Day, which is recorded into the legislative books.  With this being an election year in Texas for the Governor race, it might be a great time to pursue this.  I'll send a letter to Governor Perry and see what happens.

    It would be a step in the right direction.

    Any particular date, we should aim for????? and, if so, for what reason????

    Kathryn Krastin I'll try to push something through Texas' Governor Perry while he's still in office and see what happens. Do you have a copy of the letter that you sent to your Governor in New Jersey?
