My sister and I both are candidates for LVA surgery with Dr. Chen in Iowa
City, IA. My sister Wendy Boylan is at stage 4 and stage 5 in her legs
according to the lymphograph. (sp) The insurance company has just denied
her stating it is not medically necessary and experimental. Obviously
she is devastated. Dr. Chen has done a peer to peer review with the
medical director and he will NOT budge on his stance. Has anyone else
had any luck when the insurance company denies it? If you would like to
