It's been a year since the PE, extensive blood clot in my left leg. Dr suggested lymphedema therapy which I did get relief from. Insurance only covers 20 visits, fighting with them on an appeal for three months now. Bout to give up and wait till next year. Now might right leg is swelling and i have blister that are leaking, what's up with tat??

I was wondering if anyone might have experience with a surgical drain placed in a leg affected with lymphedema. I recently had surgery on my swollen leg and subsequently developed a seroma that required a drain to be placed. Now, after two weeks, the drainage is still pretty high and it seems I will never get it out. Could the lymphedema impact the amount of drainage?
