Question for the experts: I have lymphedema in my leg and will be going to a resort/spa next week where I intend to enjoy a Swedish massage. Is there any problem and/or danger with having my leg massaged?

Hello, i just wanted to talk to some who has lymphedema from that came from surgery after having a tumor removed from just below my knee. I have given all my pretty slippers,sandals,shoes & boots as all i can wear is crocs & flip flops which has depressed me ever so much and yes i know i could not have feet which would be worse but right now i need to talk to someone who understands my feelings......Thanks for letting me air my toubles to who ever is listening, oh yes i had this surgery 6-21-10 and they still tell me to keep my leg elevated as much as possible!!!
