Hello lymphedema community..I am looking for a mentor. I am PT and work with Veterans..I am a Norton trained PT in 2012.. I have not treated any patients. I was told by my teacher at the Norton school that I should have a mentor first...and work with a skilled professional before I see patients on my own. there are no Lymphedema therapist at my work place
..and the one that they have works at another VA...we have been unable to connect. I work in the Bronx NY..I was able to get in contact with a rehab clinic in Manhattan but they closed rather early and I would not be able to go after work. I am asking for any help in terms of finding a mentor in the NY metropolitan area. Thank you
