As far as he has been told the closest specialist to him is in Atlanta GA and he lives in Chattanooga TN..  He has no insurance and is currently on Medicare due to disability with the LE so not many docs really want to deal with him..  He has had constant and continuous issues with leaking, blisters, and infections upon infections with include recurring staph.

He was just released from the hospital yesterday and they told him to continue taking his Diuretics and elevating..
He was given one of those leg compressions from the state but his legs are so big now that they don't fit anymore..

I am heartbroken and just don't know what to do..  at 62 I would just like for him to have some sort of quality of life..  Being confined to home and bed for 4-5 months straight with hospital stays in between is getting old.   less

Katie Roddey Thank you so much.. My father has the last stage of lymphedema and I am just about at my wits end bc no one is willing to help him.. Just figured I would join and see what others were saying and maybe restore a little hope in him and me both.

Is he seeing a certified lymphedema therapist?
If not I can do a search in your area and we can get you a list.
