Staff Certified Lymphedema Therapist MLD is Manual Lymph Drainage. Have you seen a certified lymphedema therapist? Maybe you should. Check out the therapist directory on Nortonschool.com to find someone in your area. Good luck.

After having all lymphnodes removed during hysterectomy, I have been trying to reduce the swelling in my right leg with
wrapping, a machine and compression stockings.  I have been successful in managing the swelling in my left leg, but my
right leg will not go down!   I've tried 2 lymphedema specialists (a PT and an OT) and it is still very swollen.   What am I
doing wrong?  My ankle has a permanent crease around it and it is quite painful at times.  Thanks for any help.

Staff Certified Lymphedema Therapist Are you doing any self MLD? This is very important in order to move the fluid from your legs into more "healthy" areas of your body. The pump alone will not do this.
