  Victoria Forbes does anyone know of any other treatment for lymphedema here in australia, i see a physiotherapist at least every two to four weeks, twice weekly dressings, and just wondering if there is any other forms of treatment to help with getting the swelling down...  moredoes anyone know of any other treatment for lymphedema here in australia, i see a physiotherapist at least every two to four weeks, twice weekly dressings, and just wondering if there is any other forms of treatment to help with getting the swelling down in both of my legs, was only in the right leg, but in the last month or so the left leg has started to swell a lot. any help will be appreciated.

  Victoria Forbes have had lyphedema since i was 18, nothing has being done about it, right leg has being swollen with a lot of fluid for years, then my partner went into hostipal, was bitten by a mosquito, got cellutis, thrombrois and lymphedema all at the same time in...  morehave had lyphedema since i was 18, nothing has being done about it, right leg has being swollen with a lot of fluid for years, then my partner went into hostipal, was bitten by a mosquito, got cellutis, thrombrois and lymphedema all at the same time in my right leg, has being murder, contently in pain, so my leg was getting worse and worse, started off with little ulcers, then they exploded to taking over the lower part of my right leg, then went into day surgery, may last year, and was referred to the lymphedema clinic at the mater hostipal nsw. then was put on to a flowtron pump, to bring the swelling down on my leg, that helped also compression bandages and twice weekly dressings. swelling is still there, occasionally  less
