M C Has anyone ever treated a person with Lupus and bilateral lower limb lymphedema?  I am thinking MLD is not appropriate given the systemic disorder. I appreciate any assistance or resources?

Steve: was wondering if you can respond?

Seeing a patient with stage III bilateral LE lymphedema.  I have used
gray foam before when the skin fold at distal ankle was not as large
    which seemed to do well,
however she returns to therapy with significantly more edema in this area.
The large skin fold at distal ankle now drags on the floor.

Are there any templates or ideas for enveloping and lifting this type
of skin fold? I recall some pattern that looked like a flower
    cut out of the foam.
The ankle is inserted into the “center portion of the flower” and the
“petals” wrap proximally up the lower leg, securing with Idealbind. Is this cor rect?   Thanks  less
