I have always dealt with lymphedema in my feet, particularly the left one. Until recently, I have elevated my feet (manual dranage) and it has worked. Currently, I am terminal with Radiation Fibrosis from the excessive Colbalt-60 rads given back in 1970 (before the use of chemotherapy to treat Hodgkins).  So, has anyone had any luck with compression socks to bring down the swelling? My left foot is about twice the size of my right and my right is quite swollen!  Love to all, Bigfoot  less

My right foot is also a "big foot" and I use compression bandages pretty much 24/7. I had a wonderful therapist who helped me get custom made, heavy duty stockings which I used when I was sick and tired of of bandaging. She also told me that wearing shoes would help compress my foot and as much as I hate shoes, I found that she was right. It takes me a long time to get a shoe on my right foot, but I just inch it in til I can tie it up. The longer I wear a shoe, the smaller my foot...    less
