I will be doing my own advertising and obtaining referrals to obtain my own caseload within a already established practice . I am interested in any information on what I may need to start this practice , any insight on a brand of massage tables that are reliable and useful, insurance, how much to charge ect... Iam open to any insight on things I may encounter starting this practice and how to make this a successful endeavor! Thx!  less

Is this outpatient facility free standing or is it part of a hospital system? Billing changes depending on the environment. Where I work, we use Hi/Low therapy tables instead of massage tables so that you can easily raise and lower your patients. I can give you better answers about billing when I have a better picture of where your practice will be located. Good luck!

My pt reports that she can only do what she can do and needs to have a day off during the week and during the weekend. I have educated her on the importance of compliance and that any progress made will be lost if she does not continue to utilize the bandages during the intense phase. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help her or if it is worth treating her if she is only partially compliant .  less

You do what you can to educate them on the importance of compression, self bandaging, self MLD exercise, etc, but if you don't allow flexibility, you will push them out the door and then there is no success. She will be much more compliant if she knows that you understand how treatment affects her life right now and that you will work with her and guide her. Don't give up!  less
