I was bald till August 12, 2015, had 33 days straight of Radiation , which i got 2nd degree burns. Then was diagnosed with Lymphedema. I just finished my last PT on Wednesday 12-9-2015. Be on the watch for breast swelling and infection, common for irradiated breasts, especially since you experienced 2nd degree burns. It is likely that the lymph drainage from your breast has been impaired and you may be at risk for breast lymphedema and/or delayed breast cellulitis. Your lymphedema therapist should be aware of this and can instruct you on what to do if you have an event.
