    Patricia Jalbert I have lymphedema in my right arm extending from my fingers to my shoulder. I also have truncal lymphema. Bandaging did not help. MLD did not help. sleeve and guantlet made it worse. I have been told to try a pump, denied by medicare and therefore also...  moreI have lymphedema in my right arm extending from my fingers to my shoulder. I also have truncal lymphema. Bandaging did not help. MLD did not help. sleeve and guantlet made it worse. I have been told to try a pump, denied by medicare and therefore also companion ins.,  also to try acupuncture, cupping. Any one have an idea where I go from here?

CDT is the gold standard and even though you may have seen a trained therapist it may not have been an experienced...  moreUsually the pump cannot make a big difference and if it consumes valuable dollars that could have been spent on therapy its a big loss. CDT is the gold standard and even though you may have seen a trained therapist it may not have been an experienced clinician. If your arm is so large it is unmanageable you need therapy. Liposuction will also...
