Thanks for getting back with me.  We have used chip bags on her L foot and it actually made her feel better.  She is very active and teaches 4th grade.  She has tried compression garments but could not get the right size so we had her measured and I think she has them now.  She is very proactive and even though she was worked up by a vascular surgeon I am thinking she needs to see a Lymphologist to determine her true issues.  She now has increased trunk edema specifically along the sternum.  It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  I was thinking maybe something like Scleroderma but there are no skin changes that look like that.

    Thanks again

    Thanks for you help.  less

Has she had a full cardiac workup recently? She could simply have primary lymphedema. I would be more conservative with her for now and avoid the aggressive chip packs which could increase compliance. Maybe look into an adjustable garment like the Solaris Ready Wraps for her legs that she can wear while you are working on her trunk and arms. Try to make things easy for her and she will be grateful! Good luck and keep me posted!  less
