Lymphedema Awareness Day

  • Has anyone tried to get a Lymphedema Awareness Day established by the Governor of their State?  Oftentimes, they will proclaim an Awareness Day, which is recorded into the legislative books.  With this being an election year in Texas for the Governor race, it might be a great time to pursue this.  I'll send a letter to Governor Perry and see what happens.

It would be a step in the right direction.

Any particular date, we should aim for????? and, if so, for what reason????

Kathryn Krastin Does anyone have any specific medical journals that can specify statistics involved with Lymphedema? Please post what you know about. I'd like to include some as references in my letter to the Governor for the State of Texas. :D
